A page wherein the reader is treated to a chronicle of Art's affair with a Ford N8 his own age.

I still owe money to the doctor, the vet, the dentist and the medical lab so I buy a tractor!  A person needs reliable transportation to the poor house.  The unit to the right is not the very same tractor but it's a gray day and I wanted to put up a picture.  Actually the one I bought is in mint condition and looks the same as does this one except I bought a back blade for mine.  Coming soon, an auger and a disk or plow. Mine has been converted to 12 volt and sports an alternator rather than a generator.  It starts every time and runs like a top.

I tried to push all the straw and horse manure  in front of the first shed into a pile.  It was fun but I am lousy using a blade.  John will loan me his nine inch post hole auger when we are ready to lay the line for the arena.  he will also let me use his disk, plow and harrow.  Kevin says that he can get me some implements at his dad's place that just lay around.  I will be happy for those. I learned that the hitch on the 8N is the same on many tractors even ones of recent manufacture.  I am really looking forward to using the auger!

Tony worked with the tractor today and tried to even out the mess I made with the blade on Sunday

Tony used the tractor to move the horse shed over about 16 feet.  I didn't think he could do it.
